It's not an easy task as I've done a fair bit, not as much as I would have liked, but enough to keep me busy for a few weeks of shifting through the garbage.
I was so busy doing the work that I haven't really had an opportunity to present it it any way. One thing that struck me while pulling it together is that I've done a varied amount work, but in retrospect probably spread myself too thinly.
I've learned a huge amount in the process but unfortunately it doesn't necessarily show on the page.
There's a hard sell there. "Sorry, I know loads more than it looks like. honest Guvner".
Sadly there's nothing for it, but to keep on keeping on. I still have to finish my showreel but now I have the semblance of something I can send around to show I have some creative ability.
I'm nearly there and for better or worse I'll have something to show soon. I've been so long out of the game I just don't know what the reaction will be.
The great news is that once it's done it's not difficult to update stuff. At some point I'll actually get around to putting all up online somewhere in one handy website shape of webiness. It's not the progress I want but it's still progress.
